5.0 on the monday.com marketplace

Getting monday.com data into BigQuery should be easy.

Your team lives in monday.com, but your reporting lives in SQL. Exporting CSVs breaks the moment someone adds a column. Generic ETL tools hand you monday's raw API schema to untangle. And the homegrown script works fine until monday's API changes, or it hits an API limit, a pagination timeout or an auth change.

  • Scripts break when monday's API changes. monday ships breaking API changes every few months, so you have to keep migrating your scripts. BoardSync handles those migrations for you.
  • CSV exports every Monday morning. Manual, error-prone and always out of date.
  • Raw API dumps. Nested JSON, connected-board IDs and column titles that aren't valid SQL.
  • Scripts nobody owns. Rate limits, retries and token changes are now your job.

From board to BigQuery table in three steps.

  2. 2

    Connect Google BigQuery.

Sign in with Google and pick your Cloud project. No key files.

Google consent screen where BoardSync asks for BigQuery and Cloud project access
  3. 3

Pick a board and a schedule.

Choose the dataset, table and region (BoardSync creates them if they don't exist), then sync daily, weekly or monthly, or on demand.

Real columns, not a JSON dump.

Every board becomes one table you can query right away. BoardSync maps each monday column to the right BigQuery type and keeps the IDs you need to join boards together.

  • Google access. BigQuery, plus read-only Cloud project access to list your projects.
  • monday.com access. Boards, users and account info, limited to the workspaces an admin approves.

FAQ

Can't we just build this on the monday API?

Yes, and some teams do. monday ships breaking API changes every few months, so you'd have to keep migrating your scripts. BoardSync handles those migrations for you. You also plan for pagination, per-column mapping, BigQuery schema changes, retries, scheduling, Google and monday authentication, and daily API-call limits of 1,000–25,000 calls per account for personal tokens. BoardSync handles that for $18–$59/month.

Do connected-board and mirror columns work?

Yes. Connect-boards columns arrive as a list of linked item IDs you can JOIN against the other board's monday_item_id; mirror columns arrive as their displayed value. Sync both boards and join them in SQL.

What about formulas and subitems?

Simple arithmetic formulas are calculated; other formula types arrive empty for now. Subitems aren't synced yet.

How fresh is the data?

Choose daily, weekly or monthly syncs, or sync on demand.

Is it reliable?

Each sync rebuilds the table from the board, so BigQuery always matches monday as of the last run, and sync errors show in the app with what to fix.

Is it secure?

Data goes straight into your own BigQuery project, authorized with Google sign-in, and you can revoke access anytime. BoardSync doesn't store your monday board data on its servers.

Does it work with non-English boards?

Yes. Column names are translated into English and made SQL-safe automatically; you can rename any of them.

Can I sync BigQuery back into monday.com?

Yes, one direction per account today. Email support@boardsync.app if you need both.

What does it cost beyond the plan?

Only your own BigQuery usage, billed by Google.
